Your use of Intoxtech services is governed by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. These terms do not affect your statutory rights. By ordering services from Intoxtech, you are entering into a contract with us. The terms below set out our obligations to you and what you are consenting to.
Fees and Payment
- Payment Methods: Currently, we only accept cash payments and bank transfers. However, we are working on implementing additional payment methods to offer customers more flexibility.
- Currency and Taxes: All prices quoted are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
- Errors: We strive to ensure all information on our site is accurate. However, in the event of an error in the price or description of a service you have ordered, we reserve the right to cancel your order. If this occurs, we will notify you and provide the option to proceed with the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
PC, Mac, and Laptop Repair: No-Fix-No-Fee
- If we cannot fix your computer within 10 days, you will receive a full refund, provided you comply with the requirements outlined under “Service Requirements.”
- While we cannot guarantee a resolution for all issues, our technicians will use all reasonable skill and care to address the problem, including return visits if necessary.
Booking Service Slots
- Appointments: Appointments can be made by calling our contact number. Appointments are available Monday through Saturday between 10:30 AM and 7:00 PM, subject to availability.
- Confirmation: Appointment details will be confirmed via email after booking.
- Arrival Time: Our technician will contact you between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM on the day of the appointment to provide an estimated time of arrival. This may be within a 4-hour window.
- Rescheduling: In case of unforeseen circumstances requiring rescheduling, we will notify you in advance and arrange a mutually convenient time. You may cancel your order and claim a full refund if rescheduling is not suitable.
- Cancellations: You can cancel or change an appointment by 7:00 PM the day before (or by Friday for Monday appointments) to receive a full refund.
- Call-Out Fee: A £20 call-out fee applies to home visits, payable for the first visit only. If a scheduled appointment is missed without prior notice, the call-out fee will not be refunded.
- Requirements: At the time of the appointment, ensure:
- An adult (18+) with basic knowledge of the issue is present.
- Access to the equipment and mains electricity.
- Compliance with any reasonable instructions provided by the technician.
Warranty
- Software Warranty: We provide a one-year warranty on all software supplied by us. If the software malfunctions, we will repair or replace it at no extra cost.
- Hardware Warranty: Warranty apply to any hardware supplied by us. Within the first 3 months, we will examine faulty products free of charge. For recurring issues related to our service, repairs will be conducted at no extra cost. This excludes faults caused by subsequent hardware failures, software misuse, or accidental damage.
Service Requirements
- Data Backup: Ensure all data and information on your computer or hardware is appropriately backed up before we access your system. We are not liable for any data loss.
- Warranty Impact: Our services may affect existing manufacturer warranties. It is your responsibility to determine the impact beforehand.
Systems Excluded
Our services do not cover the following:
- Servers.
- Domain and Active Directory-based networks.
- VPN and WAN networks.
- Complex corporate infrastructure hardware such as advanced firewalls or switches. If your system includes any of the above, you may cancel the service for a full refund.
Liability Exclusions
While we aim to provide high-quality service, we are not liable for:
- Loss or corruption of data, information, or records.
- Loss of goodwill, business, or contracts.
- Failure to follow our advice or instructions.
- Issues arising from the absence or misuse of antivirus software.
- Losses that are not reasonably foreseeable.
Store
- Products: All products listed on our website are genuine. Purchases are available via reservation and cash on collection. Online checkout may be introduced in the future.
Information We Require and Use of Information
Data Privacy: Your personal information is used solely for service purposes and is not sold or shared with third parties. Personal data will be securely destroyed after service completion.
Required Details: We will request your address, contact phone number, and email address to complete the service.
